Austria's minister (ministress?) of women's affairs wants to change the lyrics of our national anthem. Maria and I safely returned from Boston. I am still iPod-less. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the town. The conference was a bit of a disappointment. My talk went well, but the opportunities for networking at the conference were rare. The organizers really need to provide more spaces were people can get together. I went to the CambridgeSide Apple Store today to get myself an iPod nano as an early birthday present and guess what — the 4 gig model is already sold out. Damn. Not sure I want the 2 gig model they have in stock, so I'll wait and see if they get a new delivery until Thursday. I really hope so. At least Maria got a really cool looking notebook bag for her PowerBook.
Apart from that, Maria and I are really enjoying Boston. Great city. And the free WiFi in the hotel lobby is fine, too.
I'm on my way to Boston for my talk at the Embedded Systems Conference.
The corporate website for Applied Informatics, my company, has been relaunched. Take a look at it!
