There are some things that money can not buy. For the most part, Rob is right. However, regarding items 3 and 4, sure we all love to do new, challenging and exciting things, however a major portion of the work is actually tedious completion of a product (finding bugs, tidying up the code, testing, testing, more testing and then some more testing). It's nice to play with new toys all the time, but the last (incredibly boring and unattractive) portion of the job is what actually makes or breaks a software product and whether one toughs it out through it makes all the difference.
